I’m Jen Clancey. I’m a journalist committed to high quality reporting guided by facts, research and people’s stories. I am passionate about showing audiences how actions by lawmakers, leaders and community members shape their everyday life. I work to find the unique ways broader problems and solutions show up in the places I report on.

Where I am: I work as a staff writer for a local news publication in Big Sky, Montana called Explore Big Sky after reporting for two years with my college’s nonprofit newsroom, The Reporting Project.

I recently published a story investigating local immigration enforcement in Montana with support from an International Center for Journalists’ grant.
