My name is Jen Clancey.

I grew up in Central Jersey and spent a lot of time playing soccer and swimming, but what remains with me is writing, reading and learning all the ways we can connect. I work as a reporter at a local newspaper in the U.S. West after attending school for psychology and narrative journalism. Through science coursework I fell in love with figuring out how to condense research findings and put them into concise language. I’ve been privileged to hone my skills through work at Denison University’s The Reporting Project and with mentors.
