I am a Psychology and Narrative Journalism student at Denison University in Central Ohio and an intern for The Reporting Project. The Reporting Project is a platform for local stories in collaboration with Denison’s Journalism Department. We write stories about the “missing middle”, paying close attention to a sense of place.
From documenting the people who keep the local bar running, to filming percussion groups in their zone, my experience has brought me to meet amazing, interesting, and hardworking people. It’s grounded my work as a narrative journalist. I have a passion for applying my science background in psychology to my writing and multimedia work. I hope to continue covering the complicated, resilient, and important humanity behind headlines.
